Protests against the economic halt to curb the spread of coronaviruses are mounting, as angry citizens condemn the restrictions that have limited travel, employment, employment and opportunities.
There have been previous protests in Austin, Texas; Salt Lake City, Utah; Boise, Idaho; Annapolis, Maryland; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Carson City and Las Vegas, Nevada. They join previous demonstrations in New Jersey, California, Michigan, and Illinois, with Montana set today.
Although the protests are relatively small, they indicate a growing feeling among frustrated workers that the country needs to allow economic activity to resume, albeit with protections in place that will limit a further rise in coronary heart disease infections.

The protests are being fought by health experts and officials, who insist that any resumption of normal activities will be disastrous and lead to an excessive number of new infections. They asked citizens to be patient even as they extend restrictions until mid-May and beyond.
Already, some beaches in Florida have resumed limited access, and Texas is aggressively making plans to regain its economy.
Nationwide, food banks are reportedly striving to meet increased demand for out-of-work Americans, while school systems are largely closed, with home-school plans in place. The recurrence of CARES Act incentive checks has provided some temporary assistance, but there are still reports of an unemployment system overwhelmed with new applications, resulting in workers unable to register.
The Small Business Administration, which has spent all of its funds to try and help start a new business, is now waiting for congress to reach a compromise on adding new funds to the SBA account to help smaller businesses. The initial rounds quickly ran out, with many small companies complaining that they never received notification.
