Police on Sunday identified a 43-year-old Boston man as the victim of a fatal triple shooting in Roxbury earlier this month that wounded two others.

Dennis Mejia and two other men were taken to the hospital around 7:46 p.m. on Sept. 18 after officers responded to a radio call about a person shot near Hammond and Westminster streets, according to a statement from the Boston Police Department.

The three men were found with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims suffered injuries that were not deemed life-threatening, but the third man later died from his wounds, the statement said.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the shooting and has asked anyone with information relevant to their investigation to call homicide detectives at (617) 343-4470.
