Sarabeth’s, the classic restaurant at 423 Amsterdam Avenue between 80th and 81st Streets, is reopening on Saturday, answering a question we keep getting: “What’s going on with Sarabeth’s???”
A Sarabeth’s location on the Upper East Side closed earlier in the pandemic, raising worries among some local fans of the chain. The local restaurant has been open nearly 30 years.
But don’t sweat Upper West Siders, Sarabeth’s is back and has even updated its menu a bit, with some new items like tartines.
“We are super excited, it has been too long,” said corporate chef Freda when we called.
The restaurant, which has an eating area set up outside, will offer brunch over the weekend and will start doing dinners on Sunday. Check out the menu below. Thanks to Thomas for the tip.
