Snowfall occurred through much of Wisconsin today. As expected the highest totals were over the central and southern parts of the state, which through mid afternoon included 4-8 inches. Northern Wisconsin received one to three inches.
Quiet, but chilly weather is expected tonight.
The week ahead will feature variety in the temperature pattern, with some snow possible.
A trough of low pressure will move through the northern Great Lakes later Monday into Tuesday, bringing some cloud cover and the chance of flurries to northern Wisconsin. A stronger low and cold front will bring a chance of light snow Wednesday, then gusty winds Wednesday night and Thursday. There will be another chance of light snow Saturday.
Monday and Tuesday will be seasonal, followed by a warm-up Wednesday, then sharply cooler Thursday and Friday. The weekend will trend mild again.
