BATON ROUGE- Authorities say two people were killed and one was injured Wednesday night in a triple shooting off of Plank Road.
The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of Linden Street near N. Acadian Thruway.
Police say 27-year-old Cody Hypolite died at the scene and Jermaine Jarvis, 37, died after being transported to a nearby hospital.
The third victim, who is a 40-year-old female sustained injuries but is expected to survive. She remains hospitalized.
The investigation is ongoing.
