CLAREMONT, the Bronx — Two men were killed in a triple shooting in the Bronx Sunday night, police said.
Authorities responded to a report of three people shot in the vicinity of East 171 Street and College Avenue around 8 p.m.
Officers arrived to find three men with gunshot wounds.
A 22-year-old man shot multiple times and a 27-year-old man shot in the neck were taken to a health care facility where they were pronounced dead, according to police.
Their identities have not been released pending family notification.
A 29-year-old man was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital for treatment, authorities said.
No arrests have been made.
The incident comes amid a violent Fourth of July weekend. Dozens were injured and at least nine people were killed during 30 shootings, according to police.
