For those that do not enjoy these hot summer days, you will only have to endure a couple of short days of extreme heat before the daily highs return to the upper eighties for the upcoming weekend.

Next week we will be seeing typical Northern Colorado summer temperatures with highs in the mid-nineties in the extended forecast. When the sun goes down, we should see more comfortable temperatures in the mid-sixties as overnight lows.

Summer heat lovers enjoy the high temperatures while they last. July and August historically see daily average highs in the upper eighties and nineties before cooling off in September with an average daily high in the mid to upper seventies.

With the exception of Friday, the extended forecast appears to not show any rain or severe thunderstorms popping up over the next seven days. But, you know how the Colorado weather can be. Anything is possible and can change at a moment's notice.
