FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department are responding to a triple shooting Sunday night.
Officers say two people are dead and one is injured after a shooting on the 3100 block of Wells Street.
Police say it happened just before 9:30p.m. Sunday night.
When officers arrived they say they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds.
One man was pronounced dead on the scene.
A second man was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition and later died from his injuries.
Police say the other victim is a woman and is in the hospital in stable condition.
Officers say there was an exchange in gunfire between the victims and there was a struggle for the gun.
Police believe one of the two men who died from his gunshot wounds is responsible for shooting the other two victims.
Officers say the relationship between the victims and the suspect is unknown at this time.
