Are you ready for some football? - Steelers.com

Even without the Steelers, there's plenty of intrigue on Sunday's NFL schedule.

Following is a capsule look at some of the games of particular interest:

LAS VEGAS (6-4) at ATLANTA (3-7), 1 p.m.
MIAMI (6-4) at NEW YORK JETS (0-10), 1 p.m.

If the Raiders lose or tie and the Dolphins lose or tie, the Steelers would be in position to clinch a playoff spot by beating the Ravens on Tuesday night (assuming both the Raiders and Dolphins don't end up with ties).

It's a little complicated, but it's still a Week 12 clinching scenario.

Whatever happens with the Raiders and Dolphins, the Steelers will be trying to become the 11th team to begin a season at 11-0 over the past 50 seasons if/when they get around to playing the Ravens on Tuesday night. Nine of the first 10 reached the Super Bowl and five won a Lombardi Trophy.

TENNESSEE (7-3) at INDIANAPOLIS (7-3), 1 p.m.

The Colts won the previous meeting, 34-17, on Nov. 12. Both are coming off come-from-behind victories that required extra time.

Indianapolis wiped out a 14-point deficit to defeat Green Bay, 34-31, in overtime. There have been 12 games in which a team has overcome a deficit of at least 14 points to win this season, tied with the 1996 and 1979 seasons for the third-most such games through Week 11 in NFL history.

Tennessee rallied from 11 points down to defeat Baltimore, 30-24, in overtime. There have been 33 games in which a team has overcome a deficit of at least 10 points to win, the most through Week 11 in NFL history.

The Titans have won an NFL-high five games in which they've scored the game-deciding points in either overtime or the last two minutes of regulation. Through the season's first 11 weeks, the league has produced 28 games (2.54 per week) in which the winning team earned the deciding points in either the final two minutes of regulation or overtime.

KANSAS CITY (9-1) at TAMPA BAY (7-4), 4:25 p.m.

Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs and Tom Brady of the Buccaneers meet for the fourth time. Brady has won two of the three previous games, including the 2018 AFC Championship Game, all as a member of the Patriots.

The Buccaneers are allowing the NFL's fifth-fewest yards per game (310.5), while the Chiefs are averaging 414.1 yards per game, second in the league.

The Chiefs are tied with the Steelers for the NFL's best road record (5-0). Kansas City head coach Andy Reid has the fifth-most wins on the road in NFL history (110, including the postseason).

CLEVELAND (7-3) at JACKSONVILLE (1-9), 1 p.m.

The Browns are 4-0 with a winning percentage of 1.000 in games decided by seven points or fewer. The Steelers (5-0, 1.000), Chiefs (3-0, 1.000), Titans (6-1, .857), Saints (4-1, .800), Bills (4-1, .800) and Rams (3-1, .750) also have a winning percentage of at least .700 in such games. Since the NFL expanded to 32 teams in 2002, 86 of 103 teams (83.5 percent) that finished with a .700-or-better winning percentage in games decided by seven points or fewer have made the playoffs.

The Browns became the fourth team in NFL history to register a safety and return an interception for a touchdown in two games in a season in last Sunday's 22-17 victory over the Eagles. The 1997 Chiefs, the 1996 Giants and the 1947 Steelers also pulled that off.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (3-7) at BUFFALO (7-3), 1 p.m.

Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert is one game away from tying the NFL record for most 300-yard passing games by a rookie in NFL history (Andrew Luck, six, in 2012). Herbert threw for a career-high 366 yards and three touchdowns in last Sunday's 34-28 victory over the Jets. His fifth 300-yard effort tied Joe Burrow (this season), Daniel Jones (2019) and Kyler Murray (2019) for second all-time in that category. Herbert's five games with at least three touchdown passes this season are the most by a rookie in NFL history. He's also the first rookie quarterback with at least two touchdown passes in seven consecutive games in NFL history.
