Flume fans recently awoke to what is perhaps the most exciting news of the decade thus far: the Grammy Award winner is releasing a new mix. The occasion comes courtesy of Australian radio station triple j, which has announced a 2020 “graduation party” for the graduates whose respective ceremonies were hindered by the coronavirus pandemic. Hosted November 27 on triple j’s Good Nights program, the airwave affair features a show-stopping lineup of native talent such as Alison Wonderland, Peking Duk, Internet Money, and of course, Flume.
Given that Flume teased new music at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, it would be no surprise to hear a few IDs from him. The sets will kick off at 6:00 p.m. Australian Central Time on November 27, meaning that listeners on the East and West Coasts will want to tune in 2:00 p.m. EST and 11:00 a.m. PST, respectively. Giving thanks has never been so easy; for more information, visit triple j’s website.
