KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE: February 14, 10:30 a.m. | The Douglas County Sheriff's Department says another one of the adult males injured in the shooting died overnight from apparent gunshot wounds.
The identity of the two killed will not be released until next of kin is notified.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information is encouraged to call the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.
ORIGINAL STORY Feb. 13 | One person is dead and two suffered life-threatening injuries following a triple shooting Saturday night in Douglas County.
Douglas County sheriff’s deputies responded around 6:22 p.m. to the 2000 block of East 1100 Road on a reported shooting, where the three victims were located.
One victim was deceased when deputies arrived.
The others were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
