DETROIT – Two men have been killed and one has been injured in a shooting early Friday morning at a Detroit residence on the city’s west side.

Detroit police reportedly responded to a shooting at about 3 a.m. Friday in the 15000 block of Washburn Street, near Fenkell and Wyoming avenues.

Officials say one man, 28, was found shot to death in the road at that location. He was either shot inside of or next to a car that was parked on the street.

Another man, 31, was found shot to death inside the residence. A third man, 26, was found shot in the stomach and leg and was taken to the hospital.

Police say a woman at the scene, 25 or 26, drove away in the vehicle parked on the street and headed a few blocks over to call the police.

Detroit police said Friday that they are handling the case as a drug-related robbery and shooting.

Officials have not released any additional information. This is an ongoing investigation.
