
The Phoenix area will enjoy two more days of temperatures in the 90s before a quick jump into the triple digits by Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Below-normal temperatures and daytime breezy conditions will continue throughout Monday as a low-pressure system moves just north of the region, according to a Weather Service forecast.
Daytime temperatures will remain in the 90s through Tuesday, and then gradual warming will take place.
Strong high pressure will build in the region during the middle of the week "bringing much warmer temperatures and highs climbing to near 110 degrees by Thursday or Friday," the forecast stated.

In Phoenix, sunny skies and a high temperature of 92 degrees is forecast for Monday, rising to 97 degrees for Tuesday, according to the Weather Service. By Wednesday, the high temperature is forecast at 105 degrees.
Low temperatures overnight also will rise as the week progresses. The low temperature Monday is forecast at 67 degrees, rising to the low 70s Tuesday night. By Wednesday and Thursday, the low temperature will be in the mid- to upper 70s.
