It didn't take long for Triston Casas to make his presence felt with Triple-A Worcester.
Two days after earning a promotion from Double-A, the Boston Red Sox' top prospect showed off his ridiculous power at Polar Park. Casas crushed an opposite-field two-run homer off promising Washington Nationals prospect Cade Cavalli in his second at-bat with the WooSox.
Watch:
The kid just continues to rake.
Casas hit .284 with 13 homers and 52 RBI in 77 games this year with Double-A Portland. During his time at this summer's Tokyo Olympics, he went deep three times and helped Team USA to a silver medal.
The slugging first baseman will get to show off his pop in Triple-A for the remainder of Worcester's season, which concludes Oct. 3.
