A teenage girl was shot and killed Saturday night after gunfire erupted in Trenton, the Mercer County prosecutor’s office said.
Police responded to reports of multiple rounds being fired around 6:45 p.m. Saturday in the first block of Bellevue Ave. in Trenton. Once there, authorities identified three shooting victims, including a teenage girl who was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police have not identified any of the victims.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mercer County Homicide Task Force at (609) 989-6406. Tips can also be emailed to mchtftips@mercercounty.org.
