Department of Labor, State Workforce Board continue job fairs
Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Department of Labor and the State Workforce Development Board will host Triple Play Job Fest job fair events this week in Montpelier at Montpelier Recreation Field (Wednesday) and in Burlington at Centennial Field (Thursday). Job Fest events will be held in partnership with the Vermont Mountaineers and Vermont Lake Monsters.
Job Fest attendees will learn more about career opportunities with employers from Vermont’s most in-demand industries, including health care, education, construction, manufacturing, and more. For Montpelier, attendees will be able to earn free admission to Wednesday’s Mountaineer’s game (6:30pm) for participation in the job fair. For Burlington, registration for the job fair allows for free admission to the game and the opportunity to receive a concessions voucher for participation in the job fair. Registration may be done in-advance at Labor.Vermont.gov, or at the ballpark by visiting the Department of Labor booth.
