Here's some reaction on social media to the controversial end of Lions-Cowboys game - Detroit News

In the final minute of the Detroit Lions' 20-19 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday night, coach Dan Campbell decided — repeatedly — to go for a go-ahead two-point conversion.

In another controversial ending to a Lions-Cowboys game, with so much at stake, Campbell was aggressive in his play-calling, and opted for a brilliant pass play to offensive lineman Taylor Decker, who caught the ball, and appeared to give the Lions a 21-20 lead.

Then, there was the flag.

The officials called an illegal-touching penalty, claiming that Decker had not reported as an eligible receiver on the play. The two-point conversion was negated and the Lions' go-ahead score was erased. After a couple of additional attempts, the Lions missed the opportunity, and the Cowboys held on to win the game.

The officials said that another offensive lineman, Dan Skipper, had reported and that Decker hadn't, which resulted in the penalty.
