The number of COVID cases in Alabama grew by more than 3,800 from yesterday.
The latest figures by the Alabama Department of Public Health shows the state has had 615,901 cases since March 2020, with 3,815 added in the last day. Seven counties posted triple-digit increases: Baldwin (259), Jefferson (522), Lee (111), Madison (280), Mobile (560), Montgomery (149) and St. Clair (136).
The state’s death toll rose by 23 to 11,648.
