Bregman hasn’t appeared in a game since Aug. 7. He appeared in seven Skeeters games during his first minor league rehab assignment before the Astros altered his plan and pulled him off the field.
It is unclear how many games Bregman will need to play before returning to the major league team. He’s missed 55 games since straining his left quad on June 16 against the Rangers. Bregman had a minor bout of right hamstring tightness during one of his earlier minor league rehab games, too.
